# Changelog

Track notable changes to the Athena SDKs and API. Each entry documents new
endpoints, schema changes, and behavioral updates across the
[Python](https://pypi.org/project/athenaintel/) and
[TypeScript](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@athenaintel/sdk) SDKs.

Use the tags to filter entries by SDK, product area, or release stage. Subscribe
to updates via the [RSS feed](/changelog.rss).

## Native asset embeds

> Render native Athena assets inside customer applications

Athena assets can now be embedded directly in React applications, external websites, and Athena User Interface assets. Supported types include spreadsheets, documents, User Interfaces, presentations, images, notebooks, PDFs, figures, semantic models, and video sessions.

Use `AthenaAssetEmbed` from `@athenaintel/react` to render the appropriate native asset viewer with signed access, read-only or editable permissions, and live collaboration where supported. Non-React applications can generate a signed embed URL and render it in an iframe.

See [Embed Athena Assets](/type-script-guides/embed-athena-assets) for supported asset types, installation, examples, permissions, and security guidance.
